To reach the people of Charleston, and surrounding areas, to promote and celebrate the culture and history of our communities, bring awareness to issues and topics in our society, while inspiring generations past, present, and future to follow their dreams. We seek to give a voice to those without one, and tell the stories that need to be told to encourage individualism and promote possibility in all people.
She graduated from Susquehanna University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Communications, a year and a half early, and moved back to her home town of Charleston to start her new life. After 2 months of being on the hunt for a job, she was unsuccessful and became depressed. But when all seemed lost, Kimberly took matters into her own hands and started a blog. What initially was a way to keep busy whiling continuing to look for work, became a full fledge business for Kimberly and what we know now as, So Exquisite Charleston.
As a proud Charleston native, and dedicated entrepreneur, Kimberly hopes to motivate and inspire people to chase their dreams and be themselves as she does. “I struggled with self-esteem issues for a great deal of my life. It wasn’t until I was older that I came out of that and created my own identity. I hope that I can be an example for other young girls or boys, or whoever to be themselves, and also love themselves.”
