You may find yourself fearing the uncertainties of starting a business such as finances, other people's opinions, and feelings of unworthiness.

The road to being completely fearless can be a long journey for some. It certainly depends on your level of faith, but also on your current circumstances and your confidence level. Confidence is going to be a key factor throughout the life of your business. Confidence is all about believing in yourself and/or your abilities. If you don't believe in yourself or your product, how do you expect someone else to?

There will always be critics; either they like it or they don’t, either they support or they won’t. Everything is parallel and has opposites. Which parallel will I put myself in? Which parallel will you put yourself in? Once you move forward, fear can no longer exist. This doesn’t mean that you won’t have anxiety, but you cannot take fear with you on your journey.

Have you ever seen a deer freeze when faced with the headlights of a vehicle as it approaches? Imagine yourself being that deer, afraid to take a chance on your ideas. This is the same crippling feeling that takes over our bodies when we are faced with the challenge of sharing or presenting our project. The fear takes control of your mind, body and soul; clouding our judgment and stopping progress. Fear will cause you to go left when it makes sense to go right, and you cannot make sound business decisions with clouded judgment.

Discipline yourself to not act on your fears but recognize and utilize the power that is already inside of you.
